Pooling Made Simple:
Hire It. Use It. Return It.
At Viscount, we make hiring, transferring, and returning equipment simple and efficient. Whether it’s produce crates, bulk bins, or pallets, our pooling system keeps your supply chain moving; seamlessly and sustainably.
Every return cycle cuts carbon by reducing single-use packaging, shrinking transport loads, and keeping valuable materials out of landfill. It’s a smarter way to move produce and protect the planet.
Our Solutions & Services

Crates
Our Reusable Plastic Containers (RPCs) are purpose-built for New Zealand growers, packers, and retailers. With three fixed and five foldable sizes, they’re ideal for transporting and displaying fruit and vegetables across the motu. They nest or fold flat for the return trip – maximising truck space, cutting costs, and keeping packaging waste out of our landfill.

Bulk Bins
Our foldable bins are purpose-built for bulk storage and transport across Aotearoa’s produce and retail sectors. Tough enough for pumpkins, strong enough for watermelons; these bins are user-friendly and space-smart, collapsing to a 3:1 return ratio that cuts freight costs and boosts efficiency.

Pallets
Our pallets are engineered for New Zealand’s produce supply chain; robust, reliable, and ready to perform. With true four-way entry, they maximise load efficiency, streamline handling, and deliver confidence from dispatch to destination.
Asset Pooling Solutions
Efficient. Circular.
Retail-Ready.
Viscount’s closed-loop pooling system powers major supermarkets across New Zealand – streamlining logistics while slashing waste. Our Reusable Plastic Containers (RPCs) arrive washed, sanitised, and ready to load. Once your stock hits the shelves, the crates return to us for cleaning and redistribution — no hassle, no waste, just smart, sustainable movement.
Asset Pooling Solutions
Good for Producers,
Great for Retailers,
Best for the Environment
For retailers, this means improved shelf-readiness, reduced food waste, and greater supply chain efficiency through durable, sanitised, and reusable crates that support sustainability and operational excellence.
For producers, this translates to less product damage, enhanced hygiene, and more efficient logistics — that are ready to load, return, and reuse across New Zealand’s extensive and demanding fresh food supply chains.
A world without single use
No resource should ever end up in landfill. Viscount circular systems helps move the world from single use, to reuse.
RPC’s sorted, washed
and inspected
Collapsed crates are collected from Retailer’s DC, or markets streamlining returns.
Collapsed crates collected
by produce growers
RPCs are sorted, washed, and thoroughly inspected to meet strict hygiene and quality standards. This process ensures every crate is safe, clean, and ready for reuse in the supply chain.
RPCs filled
at farm
RPCs are filled with fresh produce right at the farm, locking in quality from the start.
This ensures every crate delivers clean, safe, and ready-to-sell goods all the way to retailers.
Full crates delivered
to market
Full crates are delivered straight to the retailer’s distribution center, ensuring fresh produce arrives safely and efficiently. This seamless transfer keeps supply chains moving and shelves stocked with quality goods.
Crates delivered to retail store
Crates arrive at the retailer as point-of-sale solutions, ready to showcase fresh produce straight from the farm.

Make a Sustainable Switch
Our RPCs are designed to be reused more than 140 times before being recycled, generating significantly less emissions, pollution, and water usage over their lifecycle compared to single-use cardboard alternatives. Environmental benefits are realised after just the sixth reuse cycle, with customers achieving up to a 40% reduction in CO₂ emissions annually – proof that sustainability can be simple, seamless, and high-impact.
