David Smith
Chief Executive Officer
David brings extensive international leadership experience across the FMCG sector, with a strong track record of delivering sustainable growth in revenue, profitability and brand performance. He has held Managing Director roles across Ireland, Southern Europe and Australia, leading diverse businesses through transformation, innovation and expansion.
Known for his open and authentic leadership style, David is focused on aligning teams behind a clear purpose and strategy, building high-performance cultures and driving executional excellence. He is passionate about developing strong brand portfolios, fostering customer partnerships and delivering meaningful commercial outcomes.
David has deep expertise in go-to-market strategy, supply leadership and business transformation, with a consistent focus on simplifying operations, improving productivity and enabling long-term investment. He is committed to building inclusive, engaged teams and creating businesses that deliver both commercial success and positive societal impact.
Michael Campbell
Chief Financial Officer
Michael brings a strong corporate finance background, with extensive experience across private equity-backed, high-growth and listed company environments. His career spans start-up challenger brands through to established businesses expanding into new markets, with an international perspective gained from working across multiple regions and supporting global growth initiatives.
A commercially focused finance leader, Michael is known for driving performance through insight-led decision making and disciplined financial management. He has led complex transformation programs, delivering efficiency improvements and scaling systems and processes to support rapid business growth, while also navigating the demands of dynamic and evolving market environments.
His expertise includes financial strategy, mergers and acquisitions, capital management and corporate restructuring, with experience across IPOs, divestments and post-acquisition integration. Michael is a Chartered Accountant and former Director at PwC, and is committed to strengthening financial performance while enabling sustainable, long-term growth.
Dan Reeves
Chief Growth & Partnerships Officer
With extensive experience in strategy, innovation and commercial leadership, Dan has built a strong career across the packaging and supply chain sector. Having spent many years with Viscount and the broader Pact Group, he has played a key role in shaping product innovation, customer solutions and market growth.
A collaborative and forward-thinking leader, Dan is focused on translating strategy into practical, scalable solutions that improve efficiency and strengthen supply chain performance. He is passionate about advancing circular economy outcomes, building strong customer partnerships and delivering meaningful commercial results.
His expertise spans product innovation, commercial strategy, supply chain solutions and stakeholder engagement, with a consistent focus on driving operational excellence and sustainable growth. Dan is committed to supporting high-performing teams and delivering innovation-led impact across the business.
Trevor Gray
General Manager - Operations & Supply Chain
Trevor leads Viscount’s operations and supply chain network across Australia and New Zealand, overseeing pooling operations and manufacturing to ensure the scale, efficiency and reliability required by modern supply chains. With more than 30 years’ experience in operations management, including extensive experience in crate pooling, he brings a deep understanding of how to build and run high-performing operational networks.
A practical and disciplined leader, Trevor is focused on strengthening operational capability, improving plant performance and maintaining strong cost control to support sustainable growth. He has played a key role in optimising Viscount’s plant and network footprint to better meet customer demand, while ensuring consistent service delivery and operational efficiency.
His expertise spans operations management, network optimisation and team development, with a strong focus on safety, performance and continuous improvement. Trevor is committed to building capable teams and fostering a culture that is hard on standards but supportive of people, enabling individuals and operations to perform at their best.
Laura Watson
General Manager – People & Culture
Laura brings extensive experience in people and culture leadership, with a strong background in building high-performing teams and shaping workplace environments that support growth and engagement. She has worked across complex organisations, leading people strategies that align with business objectives and enable sustainable performance.
A values-driven and collaborative leader, Laura is focused on creating inclusive, high-performing cultures where people feel supported to do their best work. She is passionate about leadership development, organisational capability and fostering environments that attract, retain and grow talent.
